This work consists of several weavings and embroideries and emerged from the desire to reform my art practice and create a sustainable routine of self-pedagogy. The weavings follow a strict methodology: every idea should be carried out right away or be forgotten for good. This way, ideas are not carried over, and every time I sit in front of the weaving loom, I can start fresh, giving chance to the material to guide the process and my thoughts with it.
The embroideries give importance to these passing thoughts that occur by freezing them in time. Years from now, I will probably not remember what I had in mind when formulated those specific sentences, but the choice of carefully embroidering them into a fabric ensures that their significance is maintained.
All the works display different moods, ideas and states of mind, yet they belong together and exist in plurality.
